The Sandworn, or “Shai-Hulud” as it is known to the natives is one of the main focal points in Frank Herbberts visionary classic which transferred over to Lynch’s on-screen adaptation. This original piece features an early concept of the creature and was created by artist Ron Miller, and is also accredited to Dr. Liet Kynes for production designer Anthony Masters. This concept is pen and ink and gouache on illustration board. This This this exceptionally rare original artwork measures 13″ x 24″ and is expertly framed and matted behind museum quality glass.
