Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) – Bird Skull Vehicle Detailing

Original “Bird Skull” Detailing used on the post-apocalyptic cars featured in the 2015 George Miller film Mad Max: Fury Road. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

This small bird skull detail can be seen attached to the end of the pole that the title character of Max, actor Tom Hardy was strapped to when Immortan Joe leads a caravan against an all out road war. This piece is made of cast resin and features the likeness of a small bird skull painted a metallic gunmetal. The skull features a harness made of tanned brown leather with snap button details. The back of the skull head features a dried black adhesive where the item was attached to the car during filming. This item remains in excellent, production used condition.
