The Dark Crystal (1982) – Ritual Master Costume Detailing

Original costume detailing used in the production of the 1982 Jim Henson’s fantasy The Dark Crystal. Another planet, another time. One thousand years ago, the mysterious Dark Crystal was damaged by one of the Urskeks and an age of chaos has began. The evil race of grotesque birdlike lizards, the Skeksis, gnomish dragons who rule their fantastic planet with an iron claw.

This screen used piece was incorporated and worn on the elaborate costume of the Skeksis. Highly detailed and painted with a weathered look, constructed of resin and remains in good production used condition.
