“We Care For Kylie” is an online fundraising auction running from April 22nd until May 13th featuring original props, costumes, and entertainment memorabilia generously donated from private collections from across the hobby. 100% of the proceeds raised from this auction will directly benefit Kylie Patterson (daughter of Hero Prop co-owner, Tiana Armstrong), who is fighting an aggressive form of cancer.

In December of 2022, Tiana Armstrong’s 25 year-old daughter Kylie was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer that had aggressively spread before any symptoms were present.
Kylie spent much of her childhood in Mississippi and was active in equestrian sports, choir, and band. Years later, having graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas, she took a gap year and backpacked across Europe. At a hostel in Montenegro she met Marcus, an Australian… and the future love of her life. Kylie attended graduate school in Melbourne, Australia and completed her Masters in Environmental Science. Kylie had been working full-time and building a wonderful life in Australia with Marcus.
Kylie is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments every 11 days at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas with Marcus and their adopted dog Monty by her constant side. Kylie’s oncologist has encouraged her to travel and experience as much as possible between treatments and the proceeds from this auction will help her do just that. Kylie is a fighter and plans to have many more chapters to experience in her life.

How can I bid in the auction?
Once the auction is live on iCollector, simply create an iCollector account and sign-up for approval to bid through the iCollector platform.
What is a timed online auction?
A timed online auction offers items for sale via an online auction catalog and online bidding platform, with bidding open for a set duration of time. Registered bidders can place, raise, or alter bids on as many items they like and ultimately bid live in real time against hundreds of other bidders around the world.
Will there be any premiums added to the hammer price?
Yes – a 10% Buyers Premium will be added to all winning bids.
How do I pay for items if I'm the highest bidder?
Auction winner will be invoiced and make payments directly through the iCollector online auction platform. Shipping and insurance will be calculated and invoiced separately by Hero Prop.
How is shipping calculated and paid for?
Once the winning bidder has paid the initial invoice through iCollector for the total hammer price plus 10% Buyers Premium, Hero Prop will then pack their item (or items if multiple lots have been won) and issue a separate shipping invoice to be paid by the winner. Once both the invoice from iCollector and the shipping invoice from Hero Prop have been paid, the items will be mailed out.
How do I know the items in the auction are authentic?
Every item has been researched as thoroughly as possible and all reasonable effort has been made to ensure the information displayed for each auction lot is accurate. Many of the items were originally acquired directly from people involved in the production of the movies. We have a long list of trusted industry professionals from property masters, wardrobe houses, studios and other crew members. We are very passionate about authenticity, all our original props & costumes come complete with a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) to ensure the integrity of each item which we stand by 100%.
