Workaholic Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) wants to make things up to his son, Jamie (Jake Lloyd), and wife, Liz (Rita Wilson). As Langston hunts down the elusive gift, he runs into mailman Myron (Sinbad), another father on the same quest.
