Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999) – Royal Naboo Security Forces Bomb

A Royal Naboo Security Forces grenade from George Lucas’ Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) is a young apprentice Jedi knight under the tutelage of Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) ; Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), who will later father Luke Skywalker and become known as Darth Vader, is just a 9-year-old boy. When the Trade Federation cuts off all routes to the planet Naboo, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are assigned to settle the matter.\

The security personnel of Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) kept grenades on their belts throughout the film, including during the battle to reclaim Naboo’s Theed Palace from the Trade Federation. This tiered, cast resin grenade is hand-painted maroon with static, partially-black buttons and comes attached to a black plastic belt clip. It exhibits scuffed paint and exposed resin from production use and handling. This piece measures 5″ x 4″ x 4″ and remains in excellent, production used condition.
