Blade (1998) – Blade’s (Wesley Snipes) Aluminum Stake

Blade’s, actor Wesley Snipes hero aluminum stake from Stephen Norrington’s vampire action-thriller Blade. A half-mortal, half-immortal is out to avenge his mother’s death and rid the world of vampires. The modern-day technologically advanced vampires he is going after are in search of his special blood type needed to summon an evil god who plays a key role in their plan to execute the human race.

The half-vampire wore metal stakes in a bandolier around his left thigh throughout the movie, notably pinning Quinn, actor Donal Logue to a wall with two before setting him alight. The stake is made of turned aluminum and has been polished to a mirror finish. An indented line adorns the top and the opposite end is pointed. This piece shows signs of wear such as scuff marks from use in the film, measures 9.5″ x 1 1/4″ x 1.5″ and remains in excellent, production used condition.
