Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) – Original Stormtrooper Helmet

Original Stormtrooper style helmet used in the production of the 2019 JJ Abrahms film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. When it’s discovered that the evil Emperor Palpatine did not die at the hands of Darth Vader, the rebels must race against the clock to find out his whereabouts. Finn and Poe lead the Resistance to put a stop to the First Order’s plans to form a new Empire, while Rey anticipates her inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren. Warning: Some flashing-lights scenes in this film may affect photosensitive viewers.

This helmet was used as set dressing aboard the fallen Death Star that Rey, actress Daisey Ridley searches through for the Sith Wayfinder. This piece was custom made by the production and is made of fiberglass and resin. The main shape is identical to the Stormtrooper helmets used in Return of the Jedi and features black tinted acrylic lenses inside the eyes, and tinted blue acrylic details under the side vents. The helmet shows slight wear form sue in the film such as minimal wear in the paint, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
