Galaxy Quest Hero Power-up Pod Gun

A hero power-up alien Pod Gun used in the sci-fi spoof Galaxy Quest. After their sci-fi television series is abruptly cancelled, the struggling former actors of Galaxy Quest are called upon by real life aliens to assist them in resolving a conflict with the villainous Sarris. Sarris’ men can be seen holding these guns throughout the film.

This particular weapon was made for close ups and is made from cast resin and plastic with metal components and faux snake skin, this Pod Gun has an organic, bio-mechanical feel. This piece also has a functional internal cylindrical chamber that rotates when activated by a small switch located on the body of the weapon. This piece remains in very good, working condition and measures 20″ (50.8cm) in length.
