Game of Thrones (HBO) – Dragon Glass Axe

Original dragon glass axe featured in the production of the hit HBO television series Game of Thrones. George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” is brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic. It’s the depiction of two powerful families — kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and honest men — playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, and to sit atop the Iron Throne. Martin is credited as a co-executive producer and one of the writers for the series, whose shooting locations include Northern Ireland, Malta, Croatia and Spain.

This axe was featured in the final season of the show, when large amounts of weapons were being crafted from Dragon Glass, which would allow them to defeat the dreaded white walkers. This piece is cast in a very dense urethane rubber and features a faux wooden axe handle with an attached glossy axe head made to resemble stone. This item measures around 36″ in length and remains in excellent, production used condition.
