Harry Potter’s (Daniel Radcliffe) third year at Hogwarts starts off badly when he learns deranged killer Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) has escaped from Azkaban prison and is bent on murdering the teenage wizard. While Hermione’s (Emma Watson) cat torments Ron’s (Rupert Grint) sickly rat, causing a rift among the trio, a swarm of nasty Dementors is sent to protect the school from Black. A mysterious new teacher helps Harry learn to defend himself, but what is his secret tie to Sirius Black?

During the Quidditch match while Harry is flying his Nimbus 2000, the Dementor’s appear, freezing Harry and his broom. This piece was cut from the full broom used by actors Daniel Radcliffe. This piece is made of a solid circular piece of steel that is covered in resin and painted to resemble the wooden broom handle. The handle piece features the gold lettering “Nimbus 200” on the tip and is covered is clear acrylic resin to make the handle appear frozen, with intricate “drip” detailing along the bottom. This piece measures around 18″ in length, shows slight wear and has some broken clear resin “ice” drips, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
