Iron Man (2008) – Hero Mark II (Robert Downey Jr.) Iron Man Helmet

Hero version of the signature Mark II helmet used in the production of the hit Marvel Studios film Iron Man. A billionaire industrialist and genius inventor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), is conducting weapons tests overseas, but terrorists kidnap him to force him to build a devastating weapon. Instead, he builds an armored suit and upends his captors. Returning to America, Stark refines the suit and uses it to combat crime and terrorism.

This is the Mark II version of Iron Man’s signature helmet, and was the second version of the suit made by Tony Stark, actor Robert Downey Jr. and is clearly seen in the film where Tony is developing his armor after his escape from being held by the terrorist of the 10 Rings. This helmet is Made off fiberglass and is heavily chromed to give it its signature look. The helmet features a removable faceplate and neck guard and the faceplate features LED lights in the acrylic eyes (electronics untested). The helmet features two strips of Vecro and worn out foam padding on the inside. The main helmet has painted black details and hand painted faux rivet details. This piece shows signs of wear from use in the film but remains in excellent, production used condition.
