My Favorite Martian Animatronic Head

Production-made animatronic alien head created for My Favorite Martian from 1999 starring Jeff Daniels and Christopher Lloyd. In the film the Coleye character eats a piece of alien gum he finds on his shoe and transforms into an alien creature. This animatronic head was on the inside of the alien puppet head and provided movement for the various facial features. The head is fiberglass over a metal frame and contains numerous servos and cables that could move the eyes, ears, mouth, and antennas. Numerous wires protrude from the rear of the head that would have provided power and control to the servos. The head is mounted on a metal and plastic display stand. The words ‘AMALGAMATED DYNAMIC INC’ are engraved on the display stand base.
