Predator 2 (1990) – Collapsed Combistick

Collapsed version of the signature Combistick from Stephen Hopkins’ Predator 2. Los Angeles is enduring a heat wave and a crime wave, so the pressure on police officer Michael Harrigan (Danny Glover) to solve a strange string of murders is mounting. Harrigan thinks the culprit can be found among the warring gangs and drug cartels, but FBI Special Agent Peter Keyes (Gary Busey) knows the horrible truth: Their killer is a fearsome extraterrestrial (Kevin Peter Hall) with keen hunting abilities that include superior night vision and the power to make itself invisible.

This is a closed, static Combistick designed specifically for the film by Academy Award winning special effects group Stan Winston Studio. This piece is made of hollow resin with metal piping and green scale-like details painted on the sides. This version of the spear is cast in its “closed-down” state; the Predator’s spears jut open to reveal many razor-sharp blades. This piece shows signs of wear in the form of small scrapes and scuffs and measures 3.5″ x 3.5″ x 16.5″. This item remains in excellent, production used condition.
