South Pacific (1958) – Tribal Lion Shield

Tribal lion shield prop from South Pacific (1958) Vintage original vacuum-formed plastic tribal shield in the shape of a lion’s roaring face. A hemp mane surrounds the perimeter and the back of the shield features 2-leather and web fabric arm straps. Expertly studio painted to appear as carved, aged wood, with hanging hardware on the verso for display. In good vintage condition, exhibiting some breaks and cracks to the front side and measuring approximately 34″ x 33″ (86.3cm x 83.8cm).
