Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back – Han Solo Carbonite Face Casting

Vacu-formed casting from the original Han Solo mold used in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. After the Rebels are brutally overpowered by the Empire on the ice planet Hoth, Luke Skywalker begins Jedi training with Yoda, while his friends are pursued by Darth Vader and a bounty hunter named Boba Fett all over the galaxy. This piece was vacu-formed from the original master buck used to create the version seen in the film during production. It is made from white plastic and features the exact details as seen on screen. This piece has been painted silver to replicate the look of it in the film and features a custom made clear acrylic case with black backing. Although not used in the film this piece was created during the time of the production. Some light scratches to the acrylic case that measures 16” x 17” x 7” (40.6cm x .43.1cm x 43.1cm).
