Stranger Things – Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) Drawing

Original drawing by Will Byers, actor Noah Schnapp used in the production of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries.

This episode we see Will (Noah Schnapp) struggling to describe his visions. keeps failing to put into words what he was experiencing, his mom (Winona Ryder) suggested “what if you didn’t have to use words”. Will then produces dozens of the blue line drawings, Hopper and Joyce initially thinking they are meaningless scribbles until Joyce realizes two of the drawings connect. They begin mapping out the connecting drawings, taping them all over the walls and floor to form an interconnected series of blue lines. Hopper then realizes he is drawing vines. This is one of the drawings, created by production and all hand drawn with crayon. This drawing was framed by a crew member after the scene was shot. An excellent piece, in good production used condition and still retaining tape when it was used on set.
