The Dark Knight (2008) – Gotham Police Bike License Plate

Original Police Bike license plate used in the production of the Christopher Nolan superhero film The Dark Knight. With the help of allies Lt. Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and DA Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman (Christian Bale) has been able to keep a tight lid on crime in Gotham City. But when a vile young criminal calling himself the Joker (Heath Ledger) suddenly throws the town into chaos, the caped Crusader begins to tread a fine line between heroism and vigilantism.

This piece was used on one of the police bikes that were visible in the film. Based on license plate design used in Illinois, this plate is made of metal and white in color and features City of Gotham and raised lettering reading “H 22  1”. This piece shows signs of wear from use in the film but remains in excellent, production used condition.
