Conan The Barbarian (1982) – King Osric guard Costume Components

Set of original costume components used inn the production of the 1982 fantasy classic Conan the Barbarian. Orphaned boy Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is enslaved after his village is destroyed by the forces of vicious necromancer Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones), and is compelled to push “The Wheel of Pain” for many years. Once he reaches adulthood, Conan sets off across the prehistoric landscape of the Hyborian Age in search of the man who killed his family and stole his father’s sword. With beautiful warrior Valeria (Sandahl Bergman) and archer Subotai (Gerry Lopez), he faces a supernatural evil.

This set of components were used by one of the guards of Osric, actor Max Vonn Sydow and can be seen when Conan is captured and brought before him. This set consists of a heavy leather vest with attached brass colored metal plating and intricate stitching throughout. Included are a set of matching leather grieves and a sheathed knife, which is made of resin with a metal blade. This set remains in excellent, production used condition.
