Thor: The Dark World (2013) – Original Thor (Chris Hemsworth) Mjolnir Hammer

Original Mjolnir Hammer used in the production of the second instalment of the Marvel Studios franchise Thor: The Dark World. In ancient times, the gods of Asgar fought and won a war against an evil race known as the Dark Elves. The survivors were neutralized, and their ultimate weapon — the Aether — was buried in a secret location. Hundreds of years later, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) finds the Aether and becomes its host, forcing Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to bring her to Asgard before Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) captures her and uses the weapon to destroy the Nine Realms — including Earth. This hammer is constructed of resin and features a rectangular shape with cast in rune detailing. The handle section features a faux leather sectioned wrap with a resin endcap and faux leather strap detail. The piece features an aged patina making the hammer have a dense metal appearance. This piece exhibits minor wear from use in the film such as small dents and cracks in the finish, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
