Iron Man (2008) – Hero Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) Mark III Helmet

Signature Iron Man helmet used by Tony Stark, actor Robert Downey Jr. in the 2008 Marvel Studios superhero film Iron Man. A billionaire industrialist and genius inventor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), is conducting weapons tests overseas, but terrorists kidnap him to force him to build a devastating weapon. Instead, he builds an armored suit and upends his captors. Returning to America, Stark refines the suit and uses it to combat crime and terrorism.

This is a hero version of the Mark III Iron Man helmet introduced in the film. This piece is constructed of fiberglass that has been metal chromed giving it the appearance and feel of real metal. This piece consists of the main helmet, the faceplate and the neck piece, all of which are held together via magnets. The main helmet and the neck piece are both painted the signature “hot rod” red, with the main helmet featuring added padded sections inside for the actors comfort. The faceplate is gold in color with a brushed appearance and featured LED light up eyes. The electronics are in working condition, and the battery box has been added to make them function. This piece is in excellent, production used condition.
