Pitch Black (2000) – Riddick (Vin Diesel) Blindfold

An original screen-worn blindfold worn by Vin Diesel as Richard B. Riddick in the science-fiction thriller Pitch Black (2000).

This distinctive blindfold was worn by Vin Diesel during the film’s opening sequences, while Riddick is restrained within his cryo-sleep unit, having been captured and chained by the mercenary William J. Johns.

This blindfold was custom-made for the production for use by Vin Diesel as “Riddick”. The blindfold is made of leather with metal coils attached to the back. The front features a squared section that has been removed and replaced with a black mesh so Vin Diesel could see through, while retaining solid blindfold look on screen. The blindfold has minor wear from use.
