Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) – ILM Chewbacca Crew Bust Master

Original cast and crew bust master from the third installment of the prequel franchise Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. It has been three years since the Clone Wars began. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) rescue Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) from General Grievous, the commander of the droid armies, but Grievous escapes. Suspicions are raised within the Jedi Council concerning Chancellor Palpatine, with whom Anakin has formed a bond. Asked to spy on the chancellor, and full of bitterness toward the Jedi Council, Anakin embraces the Dark Side.

This is the master sculpt for the crew gift statue given out to select members of the cast and crew from the ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) visual department. This is a custom made bust of the character of Chewbacca which was introduced in the film. The bust is made of clay and was used to make the cast and crew gifts. This piece features a red paint scheme and remains in excellent, production made condition.
