Event Horizon Stunt Detonator

This prop detonator was custom-made by the production for use by Laurence Fishburne as “Captain Miller”. The prop detonator is the stunt version, and made for the climatic scene where Miller plans to split the Event Horizon in two and use the forward section of the ship as a lifeboat. This particular type of detonator was used during the fire sequence’s as it required no front screen to tolerate the heat and added weight to hit the floor. It’s made solid resin and measures 5” x 2.5” x 1.75”. A great and very significant prop to have from this film as this is what eventually destroyed the Event Horizon.
