Escape from New York (1981) – Miniature Building

Miniature special effects skyscraper from Kurt Russell “Snake Plissken’s” memorable fly-in sequence above the streets of New York City. Snake pilots his glider between the city’s buildings that are rendered in miniature. This building is constructed of wood covered in matte black paper with white grid lines for the visual effects sequence displayed on Plissken’s glider monitors, some with production notations handwritten on the bases. This item shows sign of wear from use in the film but remains in good production used condition and measuring approximately 6.75” x 2.75 x 2.75”  (17.1cm x 6.9cm x 6.9cm).
