Planet of the Apes Gorilla Warrior Battle Helmet

A gorilla warrior battle helmet from Tim Burton’s sci-fi remake Planet of the Apes. This helmet was worn by a gorilla soldier in the film. The fiberglass helmet shows signs scuffs and scratches from heavy production use and is painted burgundy. The piece features a black leather fastening strap and metal chain-mail netting on the back of the neck. The inside of the helmet is padded with black felt and is labeled “32” as used by production and measures: 9” x 9” x 20” (23 cm x 23 cm x 51 cm).
