Priest (2011) – Black Hat’s (Karl Urban) Distressed Hat

Original distressed hat used by the main villain “Black Hat”, actor Karl Urban in the 2011 action science fiction film Priest. In a society ravaged by centuries of war between humans and vampires, a legendary warrior priest (Paul Bettany), a veteran of the last conflict, lives in an enclosed city ruled by the church. When a murderous pack of vampires kidnaps his niece (Lily Collins), the priest breaks his sacred vows and sets out to rescue her before the bloodsuckers put the bite on her. Joining him on his quest are his niece’s boyfriend (Cam Gigandet) and a former priestess (Maggie Q) with supernatural fighting skills.

This signature hat was custom made by the production for the character and is made of a dark brown leather that has been heavily distressed for use during the post train explosion and has markings and details that match on screen with the hat that floats to the ground. This piece is accompanied by a costumers tag stating where the hat was used in the production. This piece remains in excellent, production used condition.
