Jurassic Park (1993) Original JP-27 License Plate

Original license plate featured in the 1993 Steven Spielberg classic Jurassic Park. In Steven Spielberg’s massive blockbuster, paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park’s mastermind, billionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.

These iconic plates can be seen on the Jeep’s and land vehicles located on the island ad are instantly recognizable from the film. This piece is made of metal with the number 27 raised on the right hand side and the Jurassic Park logo on the left. This piece has a laminate over the front with red pink stripping leading to the back. The plate features four holes and leftover adhesive from where it was attached to the car on set. This item shows signs of wear from use in the film but remains in excellent, production used condition.
