Deadpool & Wolverine (2014) – Samurai Pool (Hung Dante Dong) Katana Set

Original set of katanas used in the production of the 2014 Marvel Studios film Deadpool & Wolverine. Deadpool’s peaceful existence comes crashing down when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse. He soon unites with his would-be pal, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat.

As one of the many variants featured in the films climatic finale, Samurai Pool, actor Hung Dante Dong can be seen wielding two variants of Deadpool’s signature swords. Each sword features a resin cast handle painted black and red to match the characters signature colors. Each blade is made of a dense urethane rubber for safety and are colored a metallic silver, with one of the swords being a “short sword”, a companion to the other regular length sword. Each katana features a hard silicone Tsuba that is cast in black. Like the main Deadpool swords each of these are named on the very end of the swords, one being called “Holland” and the other “Oats”. This set shows signs of wear from use in the film such as small chips in the paint and small dents in the sword section, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
