Robocop (2014) – Maddox’s Stunt Smith & Wesson M&P Handgun

Stunt pistol used in the production of the 2014 science fiction reboot film Robocop. In 2028, OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. While its drones have long been used by the military overseas, their use is forbidden in American law enforcement. However, OmniCorp gets a golden opportunity to crack that market when Detroit cop Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) is critically injured in the line of duty. By transforming Murphy into a cyborg, OmniCorp executives hope to rake in billions for their shareholders, but they forget one thing: There’s still a man inside the machine.

This stunt gun was used by the character of Maddox, actor Jackie Earle Haley and can bee seen throughout the film, most noticeably in the training sequence where he is fighting with drones robots against Robocop. This is a solid urethane gun cast from a Smith and Wesson M&P handgun with a under-barell attachment. Thee gun shows slight wear from use in the film and has an embedded magnet on the side where it would attach to the actors holster. This piece its presented with a custom made acrylic wall display and remains in excellent, production used condition.
