Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) – Praetorian Guard Electro-Chain Whip

Original Praetorian Guard Electro-Chain Whip used in the production of the Rian Johnson Star Wars film The Last Jedi. Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an all-out assault against Leia and the Resistance for supremacy of the galaxy.

The Praetorian Guard, also known as the Imperial Praetorian Guard and later as the Elite Praetorian Guard, were elite crimson-armored soldiers of the Galactic Empire’s successor states, the Shadow Council and the First Order. The guards were armed with these Bilari electro-chain whip’s and can be seen in the films climactic finale. This piece features a circular red metal body with silver metal mesh details. The handle has two resin endocarps that are also red, one with a small resin silver point accent and the other with three round metal cylinders. The hilt shows slight wear such as cracks in the paint and wear from use by the actors. This piece is presented in a custom made acrylic wall display hanger. This item remains in excellent, production used condition.
