Blade (1998) – Hero EDTA Dart Set & Holder

Original set of EDTA darts used in the production of the Marvel superhero film Blade. A half-mortal, half-immortal is out to avenge his mother’s death and rid the world of vampires. The modern-day technologically advanced vampires he is going after are in search of his special blood type needed to summon an evil god who plays a key role in their plan to execute the human race.

These were used by Blade, actor Wesley Snipes in the film to coagulate the blood of the Vampires and kill them. He can be seen using these throughout the film and held them on his arm and belt in a custom made holding case. This set features four EDTA darts, three made of aluminum and one of resin. Each dart features a glass vial on the end holding colored liquid. The darts feature applied dried blood from use in the film. Included is a custom made arm band made of nylon with a Velcro closure. The arm band features black leather holders with plastic tips for each dart. This set shows signs of wear from use in the film but remains in excellent, production used condition.
