Black Widow (2021) – Taskmaster’s (Olga Kurylenko) VFX Sword

Original sword used in the production of the 2021 Marvel Studios film Black Widow. Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy, and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Taskmaster, actress Olga Kurylenko can be seen using her sword with her first fight with Black Widow on the bridge, as well in the finale of the film. This is a VFX half sword, used for fighting sequences where the full blade would be added later via CGI. This piece is made of cast resin and features an oval section with the Taskmaster emblem on the guard, and an attached half section of the main blade. The sword is painted black with silver highlights and Taskmasters signature metallic orange color. This item shows slight wear from use in the film, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
