The Harry Potter Franchise (2001-2011) – Original Gringotts Galleon

Original Galleon used in the production of the Harry Potter franchise. Harry Potter is a film series based on the Harry Potter series of novels by J. K. Rowling. The series was produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and consists of eight fantasy films, beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and culminating with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

These Galleon’s were used as one of the main currencies of Gringotts bank, and were featured throughout the film series, most noticeably in the first film where Harry is introduced to the wizarding currency. This coin is made of metal and bright brass in color. The front features an image of a wizard, and th back of a dragon. The coin shows wear in the patina but remains in excellent, production used condition.
