Batman Begins (2005) – Arkham Asylum License Plate

Original license plate used in the production of the 2005 Christopher Nolan film Batman Begins. A young Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels to the Far East, where he’s trained in the martial arts by Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson), a member of the mysterious League of Shadows. When Ducard reveals the League’s true purpose — the complete destruction of Gotham City — Wayne returns to Gotham intent on cleaning up the city without resorting to murder. With the help of Alfred (Michael Caine), his loyal butler, and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), a tech expert at Wayne Enterprises, Batman is born.

This was featured on the van parked in front of the Arkham Asylum during one of the films most noticeable scenes where Batman is hunting the Scarecrow. This is a metal plate featuring raised lettering. The plate is white in color with blue detailing that reads: Apportioned X496284 Gotham. The plate is labeled on the back by the production and reads: Asylum Van. This piece has been heavily weathered by the production and remains in excellent, production used condition.
