Batman Begins – Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) Cheque

A prop cheque used in the first of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Batman Begins. After losing his parents in a tragic armed robbery, young billionaire Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) turns to a life of vigilantism and becomes the savior of Gotham City, Batman.

Seen in Bruce’s wallet as he plays the playboy billionaire at a Gotham City hotel, this cheque is printed on white paper and features Bruce Wayne’s name, address and telephone number, a series of codes and the details of Gotham City Bank. Spaces on the cheque allow for the addition of the day’s date and monetary amounts in US dollars. All of this is on a backdrop of an old map showing North and Central America. The left edge is perforated to allow a natural tear when in use, with the cheque individually numbered at the bottom. Mounted in a custom display measuring approximately 20″ x 14″ ( 50.8cm x3 5.5cm).
