BATMAN RETURNS (1992) – Batman’s (Michael Keaton) Static Remote Controlled Batarang

Static remote controlled Batarang from Tim Burton’s superhero action film Batman Returns. The monstrous Penguin (Danny DeVito), who lives in the sewers beneath Gotham, joins up with wicked shock-headed businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) to topple the Batman (Michael Keaton) once and for all. But when Shreck’s timid assistant, Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), finds out, and Shreck tries to kill her, she is transformed into the sexy Catwoman. She teams up with the Penguin and Shreck to destroy Batman, but sparks fly unexpectedly when she confronts the caped crusader.

Batman used a remote control Batarang to dispatch several henchmen, before the weapon was stolen by a dog and used by the Penguin to frame him. Made of dense urethane, the wings are layered to mimic a collapsible construction. The facing has four decorative black directional triangle buttons, with a red circular button raised from the resin, however the buttons cannot be depressed. This piece measures .5″ x 14″ x 4″ and remains in excellent, production used condition.
