Batman Returns (1992) – Original Rocket Penguin

A mind-controlled rocket penguin from the Tim Burton superhero sequel Batman Returns. The monstrous Penguin (Danny DeVito), who lives in the sewers beneath Gotham, joins up with wicked shock-headed businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) to topple the Batman (Michael Keaton) once and for all. But when Shreck’s timid assistant, Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), finds out, and Shreck tries to kill her, she is transformed into the sexy Catwoman. She teams up with the Penguin and Shreck to destroy Batman, but sparks fly unexpectedly when she confronts the caped crusader.

Made from dense rubber, this penguin wears a fox metal helmet with an antenna and a resin rocket harnessed to its back. This piece is painted with a realistic black and white finish, with faux silver paint for the helmet and a red and white stripe rocket. It displays some wear from production use and measures 11″ x 14 1/4″ x 19″. This piece remains in excellent, production used condition.
