Original pair of glasses and ID badges as used by the character Clark Kent, actor Henry Cavil in the DC superhero film Batman vs. Superman: The Dawn of Justice. It’s been nearly two years since Superman’s (Henry Cavil) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wyane (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.
Both of these items were worn by Clark as he searched for information on the Batman in Gotham City. This set consists of a pair of one of a kind bespoke glasses from designer Tom Ford, with plastic round frames that are a light brown/grey in color with opaque detail. The ear pieces of these glasses have been lightly sanded down so they would not reflect light during filming. Accompanied with the glasses is a case with a production tag reading “C. Kent Hero Glasses Non Reflective”. Also included is a set of two Daily Planet ID passes printed on both sides, one featuring an image of Clark Kent along with the title of the Daily Planet newspaper and an attached lanyard. This exceptionally rare set remains in very good production condition.
This item comes with a Hero Prop Certificate of Authenticity.
