Original gold coin used in the production of the 1992 horror drama Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Count Dracula, a 15th-century prince, is condemned to live off the blood of the living for eternity. Young lawyer Jonathan Harker is sent to Dracula’s castle to finalise a land deal, but when the Count sees a photo of Harker’s fiancée, Mina, the spitting image of his dead wife, he imprisons him and sets off for London to track her down.
Faux-gold coin featuring the likeness of Dracula on one side, and Dracula’s crest on the other. In deleted scenes from the film, Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) finds gold coins such as this in Dracula’s castle, and later offers a fistful of the coins to a group of nuns for shelter in a cathedral. The coin is made of two plastic sides glued together, and is painted a gold color. The paint exhibits mild wear. The plastic has warped some with age, causing the two sides to separate in places. This piece measures 1.25″ x 1.25″ x .25″ and remains Finn excellent, production used condition.
