G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) – Stormshadow Katana “Longsword” & Stunt Saja

Hero Stormshadow Katana and stunt Saja used in the production of the 2013 cartoon live adaptation film G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In the continuing adventures of the G.I. Joe team, Duke (Channing Tatum), second-in-command Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), and the rest of the Joes (D.J. Cotrona, Lee Byung-hun) face a two-fold threat. Not only is their mortal enemy COBRA rearing its ugly head again, but there is also a threat from within the U.S. government: There might be an impostor in the White House. Meanwhile, Snake Eyes (Ray Park) is on a search for inner peace but learns that his nemesis, Storm Shadow, is still alive.

This screen-used hero Stormshadow Katana sword which features a dull aluminum blade with the Arashikage clan logo  on the bottom of the blade where it meets the hilt. The swords guard and pommel are all made from polished aluminum and the handle features white wrapped later accents. The sword features the gag extender used on screen when rescuing Cobra Commander (seen at 00:41:13) which is a small metal rod that is spring activated when a small switch is depressed one the bottom of the handle. To complement this hero Katana’s display, this listing includes a matching a stunt Saja. Cast in a softer material than that used in the hero Saja, the stunt Saja prevented actors and stunt performers from being injured in the action-pact fight sequences.
