Highlander: The Source (TV) – SFX Katana Handle

Original special effect katana handle featured in the production of the 2007 made for tv film Highlander: The Source. Amid the chaos of a crumbling city, Highlander Duncan MacLeod remembers happier times. He leads the remaining Immortals, including his mysterious friend Methos, and a mortal, Watcher Joe Dawson, on a quest to locate the Holy Grail of their world, the source of their everlasting life.

This signature style katana handle was used for special effects scenes while filming the movie. The handle is made of a light resin and features a gold Tsuba with a small section of faux blade painted green for use by the special effects department. The handle features the signature carvings of a dragon and is painted white and aged with a beautiful black wash to resemble ivory. Included is a custom made wall display features a custom cut matte board with the films title and images. The case features a glass front which can be opened to remove the handle while on display. This piece remains in excellent, production used condition.
