Judge Dredd (1995) – Dredd’s Aspen Prisoner Uniform

Judge Dread’s Aspen Penalty Colony prisoner uniform featured in the production of the 1995 science fiction film Judge Dredd. In the crime-plagued future, the only thing standing between order and chaos is Judge Joseph Dredd (Sylvester Stallone). His duty: police the violent metropolitan sprawls that crowd the decaying earth, and kill criminals on the spot if necessary. The tables are turned, however, when maniacal ex-Judge Rico (Armand Assante) frames Dredd for murder. But, as his opponents soon discover, not even a prison sentence can stop Dredd from doling out his signature brand of justice.

After being framed for a high profile death, Judge Joseph Dredd was taken into custody and can be seen wearing this prisoner uniform while in transit to the penal colony. This costume consists of a pair of trousers, undershirt and button up long sleeved shirt. The ensemble is made of cotton and wool and a dark green in color that has been heavily aged by the production including traces of faux blood. The pant legs and sleeves have been rolled up as seen in the film and the front and back of the jacket feature the Aspen logo with a futuristic barcode pattern. This item shows slight wear from use in the film but remains in excellent, production used condition.
