Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) – War Boy Nail Mask

Original mask used by one of the “Warr Boys” inn the 2015 fantasy spectacular film Mad Max: Fury Road. Years after the collapse of civilization, the tyrannical Immortan Joe enslaves apocalypse survivors inside the desert fortress the Citadel. When the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads the despot’s five wives in a daring escape, she forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a loner and former captive. Fortified in the massive, armored truck the War Rig, they try to outrun the ruthless warlord and his henchmen in a deadly high-speed chase through the Wasteland.

This piece was worn by one of the “War Boys” in the background as was used to bring the films outrageous wasteland apparel to life. This mask is made of faux rubber nails painted silver and held together via back zip ties. The mask is made in sections, with a batch of nails cast together to keep the rigid form. This piece would have been worn one the front of the head, attached to a helmet. This piece shows signs of wear but remains in excellent, production used condition.
