Marine style grenade used in the 1998 Paul W. S. Anderson science fiction film Soldier. A soldier trained from birth is deemed obsolete and dumped on a waste planet where he is reluctantly taken in by a community of defenseless, stranded wayfarers. These style grenades can be seen being used by the military assault teams sent after Sgt. Todd 3456, actor Kurt Russell. Made from a soft foam, this piece features a silver metal “pin” tip with ring and a strip of Velcro on the back to where it attached to the actors costume. The front of the grenade features a rectangular section of red transparent acrylic and a small electrical square with faux push button. This item measures 6″ x 2″ and remains in excellent, production used condition.
