Spectral (2016) – Plasma Rifle Battery Pack

Original plasma rifle battery pack used in the production of the 2016 Netflix film Spectral. Civil Unrest in the European country of Moldova has US forces engaging the insurgents however there is a new threat who has decided both are their enemy. This new threat resides in an alternative spectrum that makes them invisible to the naked eye and instant death to anyone confronting them. Locals believe they are Spirits of War but others believe they are superior arms technology fabricated by the Moldova government.

This piece was constructed by the world famous Weta Studios and was used on the large plasma rifles the soldiers used to hold of the “ghost” threat in the finale of the film. This piece is made of a very dense urethane rubber and features intricate cast in “technical” details and is painted grey with black accents. The battery shows signs of wear from use on set in the form of small scrapes and scratches, but remains in excellent, production used condition.
