An original, hand-drawn key art concept drawing from “The Naked Gun” (1988) by Dan Chapman. Chapman worked as art director on the campaigns of the “Naked Gun” three films while at DÄZU (formerly Spiros Advertising). He is one of the minds behind some of the most iconic film one sheets ever, from “Basic Instinct” to “Die Hard”.
While exploring ideas for the film’s key art, he did lots of different drawings and concepts (including the finally picked “bullet riding” idea that became the movie’s poster). This original production key art concept hand drawn on vellum, taped to paper. Sheet measures 14.5″ x 11″ (37cm x 28cm).
