Battlestar Galactica (2004) FN-57 Grenade’s & Case

Set consisting of two faux grenades and a carrying case featured in the second season of the 2004 television remake Battlestar Galactica. When an old enemy, the Cylons, resurface and obliterate the 12 colonies, the crew of the aged Galactica protect a small civilian fleet – the last of humanity – as they journey toward the fabled 13th colony, Earth. During the second season, the main Colonial sidearm was changed to a real-life FN that used these style grenade’s under the main barrel. This set consists of a green metal military style carrying case with a placard on the outside reading “Rockets, Sidearm Type 3”. Inside there are individual slots for ten grenades. Also includes are two small grenades that each measure approximately 3″ in length, painted white with a red stripe and grey fins. This set remains in excellent, production used condition and measures 10″ x 5″ (25.4cm x 12.7cm).
