The Chronicles Of Riddick (2004) – Riddick’s Snow Distressed Goggles

Snow distressed goggles used in the production of the 2004 science fiction epic The Chronicles of Riddick. Galactic criminal Riddick (Vin Diesel) is on the run, with bounty hunters on his tail. He receives guidance from Aereon (Judi Dench), ambassador from the Elemental race, who informs him that a warrior army known as the Necromongers is annihilating all human life in the galaxy in a bid for universal dominance. The wise Aereon urges Riddick into battle, believing he is the one man who can defeat the Necromongers and their leader, the evil Lord Marshal (Colm Feore).

Riddick, actor Vin Diesel can be seen wearing these goggles during the opening sequence of the film while living on an isolated ice planet being hunted by Merc’s. These signature goggles were worn by the character in the first installment of the Franchise Pitch Black and followed into the second as his signature look. These are made of rubber with two round tinted lenses on the front. This particular pair has been distressed with white and aged by the production to look worn and beaten down from years on the ice planet. This set of goggles shows signs of wear from use in the film but remain in excellent, screen used condition.
