Matrix Revolutions – Original Screen Used Sentinel Prop Filming Miniature

Sentinel miniature used in the Keanu Reeves film The Matrix Revolutions. This miniature was one of only a few made for the film to be used as filming miniatures on set and as reference for the scenes during the Zion siege as falling casualties of APU fire and after an EMP is set off, destroying all the sentinels invading Zion.

The Sentinel was first designed by conceptual artist Geof Darrow and later refined by Steve Burg for the 1st Matrix film. When the sequels were in pre-production, It was requested that the existing 3D model be re-designed since it would play such a large role in the Reloaded, Revolutions and The Animatrix: Final Flight of the Osiris.

The sentinel has a grey metallic colored body made from resin with red colored eyes, the legs are made from black nylon rope with black plastic claws on the ends. In overall good condition with typical wear from production use and measures 25″ in length. Included with this Sentinel is an LOA from a head of Department explaining the use and provenance.
